Benford's Law is part of stochastics, which is a subject in the advanced levels in high school just as is analysis and analytical geometry. Benford`s Law is not in the current curriculum. If time allows it could be integrated, most likely, into 12th grade in stochastics. Benford`s Law could be discussed outside of class in a math study group, it even allows for different grades to be involved. The theorem of Benford`s Law is easily understood, and because of that it is possible to deal with it on various levels of difficulty. Some links to Benfprd`s Law from topics in math class are presented in the semantic web (mind map) below. The grades are given in parentheses and relate to the Hesse curriculum.
